BuyerSide Türkiye is an independent inspection and sourcing agency based in Istanbul that represents foreign importers buying from Turkish factories. We carry out factory audits, pre-shipment inspections and container loading supervision, source and verify suppliers, and manage freight for EXW purchases. We accept no commission from any supplier. Inspections start at €320 per man-day; a desk-based supplier verification is $50.
The Service Provider shall not solicit, accept or receive, directly or through any related party, any commission, rebate, discount, fee, gift, hospitality, travel, accommodation or benefit of any kind from any supplier, factory, agent or third party connected with the Client's order.

The problem nobody puts in writing
Most sourcing agents in Türkiye earn twice. Once from you, as a fee. And once from the factory they recommend, as a quiet percentage of your order. That second payment is the reason you were shown that factory rather than a better one.
It is not illegal and it is not rare. It is the default commercial model of the trade. It also means the person you hired to protect you has a financial interest in your order going through — whatever the goods look like when they are loaded.
What we did about it
Our contract carries a zero-kickback clause with a financial penalty. If we accept a single lira, a gift, a free hotel night or a "referral thank-you" from any supplier connected to your order, you can terminate immediately and we repay the full engagement fee. No agent whose business model depends on supplier commission can sign that clause.

Why an office in Türkiye, not a global platform
Global inspection firms will send you a competent inspector and a clean report. What they will not do is call the factory owner on Sunday evening, explain in Turkish exactly what is wrong, and get it fixed before Tuesday's vessel. Nor will they find you a replacement supplier in Kayseri when the one in Bursa fails.
That is the difference between a report and an outcome. We do the report because you need the evidence. We do the rest because you need the shipment.

Frequently asked questions
Do you take any payment from Turkish suppliers?
No. Our engagement contract contains a zero-kickback clause with a financial penalty: if we accept any payment, gift or benefit from a supplier connected to your order, you may terminate immediately and we refund the engagement fee in full.
Which sectors do you cover?
All product groups. Our deepest experience is in furniture and kitchen, construction materials, machinery and equipment, cosmetics and home textiles. For highly regulated categories such as medical devices we will tell you when a notified body is required instead of us.
Where in Türkiye do you work?
Nationwide. Most manufacturing we inspect sits in Istanbul, Bursa, Izmir, Kayseri, Gaziantep, Denizli and Kahramanmaraş. Travel outside a 150 km radius of Istanbul is billed at cost and quoted in advance.
How do I pay you?
Bank transfer by SWIFT to our Turkish foreign-currency account for inspections, sourcing and retainers. The $50 supplier verification is paid by card through Payoneer. We do not use PayPal or Stripe: Turkish banking regulation does not permit them to operate locally.
How quickly can you attend a factory?
Typically within three to five working days of a confirmed booking, and within 48 hours in Istanbul and Bursa for an additional urgency fee. Container loading supervision must be booked at least 72 hours before the truck is scheduled.
