Frequently asked questions

Do you take commission from suppliers?

No. The engagement contract contains a zero-kickback clause with a financial penalty and an immediate termination right for the client.

What does an inspection cost?

Pre-shipment inspection starts at €320 per man-day. A factory audit starts at €450. Container loading supervision starts at €290. A desk-based supplier verification is $50 and is credited against your first inspection.

What is AQL and which level do you use?

AQL — Acceptable Quality Limit — is a statistical sampling standard, ISO 2859-1, that sets how many units are inspected from a batch and how many defects are tolerated before the batch is rejected. Our default is General Inspection Level II with 0 critical, 2.5 major and 4.0 minor. We use your standard instead if you have one.

How do I pay from outside Türkiye?

SWIFT bank transfer in EUR or USD to our Turkish foreign-currency account. The $50 verification is paid by card through a Payoneer payment request. PayPal and Stripe are not available to Türkiye-registered businesses.

How far in advance must I book?

Three to five working days is typical. Istanbul and Bursa can often be covered within 48 hours for an urgency fee. Container loading supervision needs 72 hours because it must be synchronised with the factory's truck booking.

What happens if the goods fail?

You receive the evidence and a fail verdict the same day, before the balance payment is due. We then tell you the realistic options: rework and re-inspection, partial acceptance with a price adjustment, or cancellation. Re-inspection within 14 days at the same site is half a man-day.

Can you inspect goods that are already in a container?

Only partially, and we will say so. Once goods are stuffed, a meaningful inspection means unstuffing, which the factory will resist and which costs a day. This is exactly why loading supervision is booked before the truck arrives, not after.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, before receiving any specification, drawing or supplier name.

Do you find suppliers as well as inspect them?

Yes. Sourcing is prepaid, one fee per product group, and requires a written specification before work starts. The rules are published in full on the sourcing page because they are strict and we would rather you know before you enquire.

Which languages do you work in?

Turkish and English for all correspondence and reports. This site is published in English, German, Arabic and Spanish; reports are issued in English unless otherwise agreed in the scope.
