BuyerSide Türkiye

About

In short

BuyerSide Türkiye is an independent inspection and sourcing office in Istanbul, founded in 2026 by Muhammed Enes Tipi, a logistics coordinator specialising in Türkiye export lanes. The agency represents foreign importers only, accepts no supplier commission, and combines inspection work with freight execution so buyers purchasing EXW have a single accountable party from the factory gate to their door.

Why this office exists

Working freight on Türkiye export lanes, you see the same failure repeatedly. A European or Gulf buyer places an order, pays a deposit, receives photographs, releases the balance, and then discovers at the destination that the goods are not the goods. By then the money has gone, the supplier has stopped answering, and the buyer is choosing between an unusable container and a lawyer in a jurisdiction they do not understand.

Almost every one of those cases was preventable by one person spending one day in the factory before the balance was paid. That day costs a few hundred euros. The failure costs tens of thousands.

The reason it does not happen is not cost. It is that the buyer does not know anyone in Türkiye they can trust to be on their side — and the people who offer to be on their side are usually being paid by the other one.

Who you deal with

Muhammed Enes Tipi founded BuyerSide Türkiye in 2026. He works as a logistics coordinator at a freight forwarder specialising in Türkiye lanes, which means the inspection side of this business is run by someone who also knows what happens to your cargo after the report is signed: how a Turkish export customs file actually clears, what a Bursa factory's lead time really means in August, and which port delays are real.

Working languages: Turkish (native), English (professional). Site content is published in German, Arabic and Spanish; correspondence in those languages is handled with a reviewed translation, which we tell you rather than pretending otherwise.

How we are structured

  • A Türkiye-registered business, invoicing from Türkiye — not a foreign shell with a Turkish phone number
  • Inspections carried out personally, not subcontracted to an unnamed freelancer, until we tell you otherwise in writing
  • Freight executed through an established Türkiye-lane forwarder, disclosed to you as a related party
  • No exclusive arrangement, referral agreement or commission relationship with any manufacturer

What we are not

We are not an accredited certification body. We do not issue CE marks, notified-body certificates or accredited laboratory results. Where your product needs those, we tell you and point you to who does it. An inspection agency that claims to do everything is telling you something about its standards.

Frequently asked questions

How large is the team?

Small and deliberately so. Inspections are carried out personally. When capacity requires a second inspector, you are told before the visit who is attending and what their background is — you never receive a report from someone you were not told about.

Are you insured?

Professional indemnity cover and its limit are stated in the engagement contract before you pay. Ask for the current certificate and we will send it.

Can you work under NDA?

Yes, as standard. We sign your NDA before receiving specifications or drawings, and we do not name clients or products publicly without written permission — which is why the founding client programme is an explicit exchange rather than an assumption.
